Beginner Triathlon/Duathlon Workshop
May 24, 2008, 10:00 AMInterested in learning about or training for a multisport event?! Join us at Peak Performance (directions)....and learn the basics of the three primary multisport events - swimming, cycling, and running.
We will start with an overview session. It will cover basic information of the three sports (swimming, cycling, and running). It will also cover basic triathlon/duathlon information, transition zone setup, nutrition, and even some specific training plan options. After the overview, plan to jump on the bike for a quick ride.....and then a quick transition for a very brief run....or just attend the overview session!
The goal is for you to leave with a good understand of the sports and how you can participate and enjoy the exploding multisport world.
Fran Bauer will be your lead coach for the session. He's completed many multisport events from 5k to marathons and from sprint distance triathlons to Ironman distance. He is a USAT Certified Triathlon coach and excels at helping people just starting in the world of triathlon and multisport.
