Huppe and Iselborn win at Goose Rocks.

Nathan Huppe, 28 of Dover, New Hampshire, won Friday’s 14th Annual G.R.B.A. 5K at Goose Rocks Beach, Kennebunkport, in 15:49. Abby Iselborn, 18 of Portland, won the women’s overall in 18:22.

It was Huppe’s second win in a week having successfully defended his title at the 12th annual Strawberry Festival 5 – which he’s won four times in the last five years.

Doug Brecher, 20 of Waban, took second with a time of 16:02. JJ Forcella, 20 of Falmouth, placed third in 16:30. Laurie Gaudreau, 39 of Springvale, was second in the women’s in 18:43 and Tieg Choroszy, 23 of Saco, finished right behind her in 18:49.

Close to 800 runners to part in the event.
