[updated 7/8] Kim Cole and Allison Dorko win divisions at the Patriot Half Ironman.
July 6, 2008Chris Schulten of Middlefield, Connecticut, won Sunday’s Patriot Half Ironman in Freetown, Massachusetts, in 4:23:17. Carolyn Cullings of South Boston won the overall women’s in 4:59:54. More than 300 triathletes too part in the event, including four Mainers, two of whom won their divisions.
Kim Cole of Kennebunk won the Women’s 50-54 with a time of 5:17:31. She was the fifth female finisher and her time was faster than the third place woman in the Elite/Open division. Nice job!
Allison Dorko of Skowhegan won the Women’s 20-24 in 5:28:02. Carol Jackson of Cape Elizabeth, competing in the Women’s 50-54, finished in 6:32:40. Edwin Jackson of Cape Elizabeth, competing in the Men’s 60-64, finished in 6:40:58.
