Results of the Norway Triathlon.

Tom Lowery won the mens overall and Sarah Alexander, the womens at Saturday’s inaugural Norway Triathlon.

Lowery of Gainesville, Florida, competing in the men’s 45-49 division clocked in at 1:05:55  and Alexander of Hanover, New Hampshire competing in the women’s 20-24 age group finished in 1:12:54.

The Norway Triathlon is comprised of a .62 mile swim in Lake Pennesseewassee, an 8.9 mile loop on country roads and a 3.1 mile run.  Ninety-one racers finished.

Ben Hemani of Hanover, New Hampshire took second overall in 1:08:42 and Eric Darling of Shelburne, Vermont was third in 1:08:50.

In the women’s Sarah Pribram of Shelburne, Vermont came in second in 1:14:36 and Katrine Alcaide of Portland was third in 1:20:29.

The Regan Clan, an all guys team from Cumberland,  took first in the relay with a time of 1:10:38. The Desperados, a coed group from Paris, were second in 1:18:39 and Team Goodtimes, an all women team from Lyndon Center, Vermont, were third in 1:20:31.

Results of the Rockland Breakwater 3.2 and 1.6 mile swims.

Elaine Kornbau Howley, 30 of Waltham, MA  and Paul Goudreau, 42 of Boston won the 3.2 mile Rockland Breakwater swim Sunday.
