Scott Bicycles

www.scottusa.com

Scott has been creating super-light sports equipment for nearly a half of a century. Scott produced the first aero bars for time trial bikes in 1989, and the first carbon fiber mountain bike frame in 1995. Since 2001, Scott has consistently been producing the lightest road bike frames on the market, and has led the way in ultra-light carbon fiber technology. When it comes to making bikes that break records, Scott has what you need. Peak Performance carries a line of Scott bikes sure to please the most discerning shopper.

Road Bikes

Addict: The addict is the lightest production frame sold in the world today. It weighs in at 790 grams, thanks to Scott's Integrated Molding Process (IMP), a secret process that allows them to produce the toptube, headtube and downtube in a single step. This process means that they can shed 11% of the materials normally used to produce carbon frames, while still increasing frame strength. The Addict also features a naked external tubeset, meaning that the cosmetic layer of carbon has been eliminated, shaving precious grams off of the bike's weight. The Addict is the utlimate in ultra-light performance.
Price: $5,499

Speedster S30: The Speedster series of road bikes takes the innovations of the CR1 series and casts them in a more affordable aluminum frame, and more comfortable geometry for comfort over longer rides. The S30 features a carbon fork and seat post for a more comfortable ride, as well as the CR1 series' Shock Dampening System (SDS) in the fork and seat stays. All of this in an affordable and competition tested size and shape.
Price: $1,149

Speedster S50: The Speedster series of road bikes takes the innovations of the CR1 series and casts them in a more affordable aluminum frame, and more comfortable geometry for comfort over longer rides. The S50 offers the comfort provided by a carbon fork and a carbon composite seat post, while still managing to remain extremely affordable. The S50 is ideal for the rider looking for a comfortable ride that won't break the bank.
